you got the show with ed sheeran, i am JEALOUS!!! also, i comple relate to the anxiety you described β mine manifests in social gatherings, but the feeling of numbness and dread are all the same. been obsessing over ur substack as i just came across it π₯Ίπ₯Ίππ
Ella yayyy!! So thrilled and proud of you for conquering your fear, especially after working so hard for a whole year to achieve your goal. Incredible! Also omg I Did Something Bad on guitar was EVERYTHINGGG
When you said about your anxiety latching onto something even though you have nothing to feel anxious about, I felt that! I would love to hear more on this if you're happy to write an article on it. I find myself particularly getting anxious over the summer over loads of different things I wouldn't usually consider. I realise it's either because I'm bored, have no plans, and no routine. Would love to see an article on this! :)
Thanks Ciara! Yes, I'd be happy to write a bit more about that! The summer I left uni was lethal for anxiety for me, everything suddenly became an unknown. I deffo have a lot to say! Thank you so much for the suggestion π
Oh anxiety is such a beast β proud of you for overcoming it! And oh my god, what great nights for you to be at The Eras Tour!! We went to Wembley N1 back in June, and Iβm now scrambling to find two for tonight π I remember feeling really guilty for managing to get our tickets, when Iβve seen her live 8 times before, and now Iβm secretly sad I gave away my additional codes π«£
Thanks Michelle! π I know, I feel so lucky to have been part of the Eras Tour, it wasn't until I was there in person that I really got a sense of how big it was. The best atmosphere ever. Honestly - never feel guilty! You can never see Taylor too many times. Fingers crossed you grab some for tonight!! β¨
You're more than welcome Isabel!! It was such a cathartic read, and so lovely to read about how you found yourself blossoming again, and that you've finally found excitement for the future! I know how intimidating it can feel when you're at a low point. I'm excited to see where the next chapter takes you!
Oh Ella I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Anxiety is a funny thing and it so often starts in one place and snowballs its way to another. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy yourself and can manage your anxiety in a way that works for you π«Ά
Also, thank you so, so much for featuring me in this article. Sorry that I made you cry but I'm glad my words had an impact β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
eeee thank you Soph!!!! It's so illogical but at the end of the day it doesn't have power unless we let it. And you're so welcome, it was such a beautiful read. I could resonate with it so much, the love you have for your grandma was crystal clear and it triggered some happy memories for me too π
