autumn walks are so needed in this time of the year, they help me to feel more connected to the season!!!

and about all the advices: you SPOKE the truth!! that’s so true when you say we are not all the same, everyone has a different path with different times. wise words 🩷

Oh I totally agree!! I need to go on more, I feel like I haven't been on enough walks to enjoy autumn yet.

We do!! The more we compare ourselves to others' paths the more difficult it is to find our own. Thank you so much for reading Michela, and thank you for your lovely comment! 🩵

My FAVOURITE time of the week!!!! Those biscuits look deeelish! And a big YES to an autumn walk 🍂

Totally agree with you on getting so much advice from various sources who have completely different experiences to one another - it's quite confusing 🤣

They were so good - highly recommend if you want your kitchen to smell like a warm hug. Hahaha I know!! Just got to go with the flow at this point, none of us know what we're doing 😅

I can’t even tell you how much this line resonated…still! And I’m in my thirties!

“Worrying about something as intensely as I’m capable of doesn’t make any of my life milestones hurry up.”

I don’t even know what advice id give anyone in their twenties now other than to read The Defining Decade by Meg Jay. I read it in my late twenties and really liked it.

Oh and I suppose I’d add travel more. Including alone. Study abroad if you can. Say yes more to the things that expand your worldview and push yourself to be in that uncomfortable spot of growth more often. I traveled a fair amount in my twenties and I’m so glad I did most of it alone because it really taught me who I am and shaped so much of me

Ooh I'll check it out! I haven't heard of that one before.

Travelling is something I'm only just getting interested in -- I'm used to doing solo dates but I think being a little more adventurous would do wonders for confidence and just general life experience. Thank you so so much for sharing this Angela! I'm really happy it resonated with you <3

I used to do solo dates all the time and I haven't in too long! I absolutely love taking myself on those. And you're right, I Feel like it really does help with confidence. I was never a better driver than after taking my 5 month road trip across the country (mostly alone) 😅 But it also gave me so much confidence because I had to figure stuff out as I went and on my own. Plus it was just fun!

Omg a five month road trip?! That sounds amazing!! I completely agree how doing stuff like that makes you feel so much more independent, I was never more self-sufficient and confident than when I was living in London and had to get myself around the city

Autumn walks are SO restorative, and YESSS the smell of woodsmoke!

No more unsolicited advice from me (heh), but I loved reading this. You're smashing it Ella x

“I don’t know where I’ll be this time next year, but I hope it’s a wonderful surprise!”

I should write that line down as a reminder to myself. What a great way of putting it! I thoroughly enjoy your sunny side up pieces, Ella. It gives me inspiration with how to mix up my routine and what I can be applying to my life. Also ashamed to say that at the ripe age of 26, I don’t have a credit card either 😶

Seeing the notification about your new post as well as one about being mentioned?? You have made my week, what an honour to be mentioned by you 🥰
