Such a wonderful piece !! Thank you for this!! I have lost my identity lately and I used to do things alone all the time. That has stopped recently as my self worth and confidence is on the floor . I am going to take your advice and write a list of places I want to go and start loving myself and treating myself to experiences. You’ve a new subscriber!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Aww thank you Kathryn!! I honestly think taking time out for the things you enjoy and your interests really helps reconnect us with ourselves, and the more we do it the more confident we feel. Thank you so much for subscribing!! I hope you enjoy my posts 💗

So wholesome. I can totally recognize the feeling of having admiration for something you've done yourself but you somehow.. forgot... again?

Yes! I think a lot of us are naturally hard on ourselves so we underestimate what we're capable of. In reality, we do lots of little amazing things every day and don't give ourselves credit for it! Thank you so much for reading 🫶🏻

Love this!! I used to be so afraid of alone time, but I have truly grown to love it over the years! And work travel has helped me get comfortable with dining alone!

Also welcome to the Birkenstock Arizona club, once you join you’re a member for life 😎

There’s nothing quite like forced alone time to help you get used to it haha - I also think as we get older we naturally get more comfortable with ourselves. And oh gosh I know - I’ve already invested in a pink & an ivory pair… I’m definitely in the club! 😂

Love love love this! Most of the time, I’m way too nervous to go up and compliment someone and then it stays on my mind as a regret. The times I do work up the courage, I’m always left feeling good thinking about how I feel when *I’m* the one receiving the compliment. Both times, I spend the rest of the day (and sometimes the following day) in a floaty high. It’s wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Ella! I’m sure you made her night even better than it already was :)

Dining alone is such a vibe. I know if it were me and someone complimented my outfit after a solo dinner date, it would make my night 🥰 I’m inspired to shower compliments on people today, thank you for sharing! 🫶🏼

Thank you so much for reading Kristen! I agree, it’s so nice to just sit and eat alone, no interruptions or worrying about getting sauce all over your face 😅

Yes!! It always means 10x more when another girl compliments my outfit, it makes my day 🥰
